Acadia is a medium sized growing town on the west coast of the [[Eastern Grasslands]] in [[Avalonia]]. The city is ruled by [[Sir Brandon Tully]] and is the seat of House Tully of Acadia. Acadia is also one of the largest ports north of [[Barqa]] and [[Eastgate]].

Years ago, during the Dragonflight, when Artorious Rex landed in Avalonia with an army, one of his commanders was Sir Brandon Tully. After the war was over, for Brandon's role in establishing House Rex, he was granted a large piece of land in the southwest of Avalonia, one of the most fertile lands in [[Historica]].

Hiring some of the greatest architects in the land, Brandon planned out what would be the city of Acadia, a port city with orderly laid and wide streets. He named it Acadia, after one of the great cities of his homeland. With the plans put in place, construction was started on the city.

Because it is strategically placed, located between [[Kaliphlin]], the [[Mystic Isles]], and the Eastern Grasslands, Acadia is a large trading hub in Historica, though not as large as Barqa. Here, Kaliphlinian goods can be shipped to [[Mitgardia]] and Avalonia and vise versa.

The geography around Acadia is like any in Avalonia. There are many forests, and rivers, and the soil is extremely fertile. Because it is in the Eastern Grasslands of Avalonia, there is of course, a lot of grass.

The City Guard of Acadia acts both as a law enforcement and military force for the city, and are fiercely loyal to House Tully. Most of its soldiers comprise of the original 2,500 of House Tully guards Sir Brandon brought with him to Avalonia. Besides, defending the city, the soldiers also protect the surrounding lands.
